Since 2021, the UIRA has raised more than $4,500 for needs-based scholarships for UI students during the “One Day for Iowa” online giving campaign.

This year UIRA raised $2,000 for the UIRA Student Scholarship Fund.

Receiving $1,000 each for the 2024 school year are:

• Max Halbach, Social Studies Education major, from Ankeny, Iowa
• Olivia Mayer, Elementary Education major, from Saint Ansgar, Iowa
