Established in 2016, the Food Pantry at Iowa supports UI students who may be unable to pay for necessities to survive while attending college. The pantry also is open to UI faculty and staff to make sure no one goes hungry or sacrifices a healthy diet. 

Certain nonperishable food items (pasta, rice, potatoes, etc.) are always needed, but there is a need for fresh produce, hygiene products, and nonfood items (dish soap, foil, plastic wrap, etc.).  To learn more about donating and to check lists of needed items, see the pantry's donation page.
